Joe Camel at the Pool Table
For the very first Saturday Morning Toon feature here on Burn as One, who better to kick it off than Joe Camel? Camels were one of my first smokes, and Joe Camel is one of the better character creations ever given ink to. Without any words, simply by using scenes, the viewer immediately gets a feel for who this peep is and what he’s up to.

Tank Girl on Leather
Friday’s I have officially dubbed “Tank Girl Induced Fridays”. I prefer “Tank Girl Igga Fries”, but it’s just not as catchy. As this pic is the main Tank Girl image on the home page, we’re starting with this one. There’ll be a new TG pic each Friday! This particular one is exactly as the title states, an image of Tank Girl airbrushed onto a leather jacket. Amazing work!

morning smoke..
The art of zzepe, one image after another, stirs a sense of distance, age and elegance that make for no easy comparison. The coloration, material and framing of each shot is so precise that a person actually feels how carefully it was taken. Hailing from Latvia, the global community is blessed to have her as a part of deviantART. It is there where her full galler can be viewed, and there where prints like morning smoke can be purchased.
This particular shot captures one of the two bests moments a smoker ever has… the first smoke of the morning. It is nothing less than exhilarating, yet calming. The only smoke better than the first smoke of the morning is the first smoke after sex. These two luxuries surpass even the cigar that’s been lit in victory.
