Featured Artist: Linda Marie Anson

Feature: Aitor, who graces almost all of the photos here with his presence, is quite the attention whore. That he most certainly is! And he’s been caught smoking on camera here by Linda Marie Anson, who specializes in bringing dolls to life, animating them in both body and spirit. A house is only a house until a person fills it with life, transforming a “house” into a “home”, and how Linda Marie Anson transforms dolls into living creatures is this very same type of magic. She specializes in many arts, but it was her work with dolls that caught my eye immediately.

And before you ask, yes, Aitor also specializes in looking bored. Despite Aitor’s attraction to smoke, there is a surprise here: Linda Marie Anson does not smoke. In fact, from her own comments, Linda appears as surprised as everyone about where Aitor picked up the habit. And Aitor, a Souldoll Chiron human version, has made no sign that he will be answering that question anytime soon. Don’t move! There is one more surprise in store for you. Although Linda does not smoke, she is one of the founding contributors and a Leader of the Pack on deviantART’s first and largest prosmoking group—The Art of Smoking—and she is a constant and necessary presence in the group. Featured Artist: addictedImage (Conan Sorrano and AnimeSexBomb)

Feature: addictedImage is a well-known name in the worlds of fashion and fetish photography, and they’re not afraid to get sexual, get political, and get downright aggressive… with traces of twisted humor along the way. AnimeSexBomb easily dominates the majority of the photos, although Conan often brings in other allstars such as Miss Mosh, Scar, and more. If you don’t recognize the names, then just accept the fact that most of the photos from addictedImage are going to get labeled NSFW with the quickness!

Conan and Mischa BOTH smoke Djarum clove cigarettes (kreteks). For those who don’t know the history of Burn as One, this all started as a form of vengeance against the bans placed on clove cigarettes in America. Those same bans affected Conan and Mischa also, causing quite a public backlash from Conan in response, so it’s only proper that they are the very first Featured Artists here on Burn as One. Even though the movement has evolved far beyond that time, it’s good to remember your roots.
